999953 signed delegations in .ch . I guess I should get some cake for tomorrow.

@g @jpmens whoops, didn't notice the discussion continuing on the fediverse, I just sent you unsolicited feedback by mail ..sorry for the noise :)

@jpmens Seems like they(like us at first..) missed the RFC8078 errata. That CDS Delete record should read `CDS 0 0 0 00` . And hopefully they'll get rid of the 3-day waiting time for rollover/delete, this turned out to do more harm than good

After 2.5 years (and a total of 35 game sessions, each one 4-6 hours long), we have finished our "Waterdeep Dragon Heist" campaign.
The doors to the *Fearless Squirrel Tavern* remain open however, so if you find yourself in Waterdeep, be sure to drop by and enjoy a glass of the finest Mirarbar whiskey with our heroes! 🥃

@c11 I'm using the same build as suggested in this blog michael.stapelberg.ch/posts/20

I use opnsense instead of his custom firewall software though. My internet speedtests max out at 20Gbps currently(not sure if due to my setup or outside conditions - finding a reliable test server is quite hard). Michael got slightly better results at up to 23 Gbps : michael.stapelberg.ch/posts/20

Every now and then we get asked why our .ch name servers refuse queries from dig. Here is why you can't dig Switzerland:

The wait is over! .ch/.li automated DNSSEC provisioning now supports authenticated bootstrapping ( datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft ). Authenticated CDS records can be activated immediately instead of having to monitor them over several days. ⌛

@silverwizard absolutely, but please note that my toothbrush falls under the standard IOT device security SLA ("if it moves, shoot it")

@jpmens I did, but apparently the 25Gig dentures are delayed due to global chip shortage :(

As of next week, my toothbrush will have more bandwidth than most servers 😬
The ISP just announced an upgrade to 25Gbit/s for no additional monthly cost ( I only had to pay a one time fee for the SFP module ). It will be interesting to see if there's any real-world use-cases where I can see even half of that bandwidth in action...

Was macht der Pirat am Computer? Er drückt die Entertaste. 🙄
